We Saw the Same Problem Over and Over
For years, we worked closely with growing food brands as they prepared products for market — helping with positioning, packaging, production readiness, documentation, and wholesale growth.
Again and again, we saw the same struggle:

Wholecrafted began as a better way to manage our own recipes, inventory, batch records, costing, and traceability in one connected place.
Before it, much of this work was handled the way many small producers still handle it: spreadsheets, notes, manual logs, and separate tracking documents. Those systems could work for a while, but they became harder to maintain as production grew.
As early versions were shared with people familiar with small-batch production, the value was clear. Even before the more advanced compliance checks and controls were added, the connected workflow was already a major step beyond scattered spreadsheets and manual charts.
That feedback helped shape Wholecrafted into the practical production workspace it is today.
